Is there a better way to search for academic papers through Bingchat?
who am I? I'm just a med student who has an interest in tech and AI in general. This is a topic that excites me and makes me nerd out a little bit. And what a time to be someone like me! I literally feel like we are in a historic time to be alive. Chat GPT is not a project that was built over night, but the impact was definitely instantaneous, and just last week, Chat GPT 4 was unveiled.
As a med student, research and fact-checking are time-consuming chores but necessary. Microsoft came guns blazing releasing Bing, which, to be honest, has been fun and easier to fact-check than normal Chat GPT. The use of direct links has enabled better understanding of where the information comes from. never the les it can't go without saying that we should never trust Chat GPT or any online search we do.
What do I want? I'm looking a way for AI to search through academical or scientifically relevant information which can be more trusted than just a normal Google or Bing search. I have tried to direct Bingchat to search through Google Scholar but without prevail. It's just so easy to set filters for papers you're not interested in. I think this would be a big help to simplify academic advancement and knowledge for students or for anyone that wants to dig a little bit deeper into a topic
What I'm looking for is a variant between Google Scholar and Bing. This would allow a more credible answer and also enable a deeper fact-check of such information.
I am not aware of a prompt or extension that would help me to search in such a way. These are only my thoughts (not an expert), and I thank you for reading.
